God’s Peace in Your Home

From the Sagradas Diretrizes Espirituais da Religião de Deus, do Cristo e do Espírito Santo [Sacred Spiritual Guidelines of the Religion of God, of the Christ, and of the Holy Spirit], Volume 1, these are important remarks made by author Brother Paiva about what constitutes God’s Churches at Home:

“Family Churches are the infrastructure of the Religion of the Third Millennium, representing the reach and the roots that establish the ideals of the Good Will of God in people’s heart. The synthesis of this Divine Idealism is the New Commandment of Jesus, the essence of the Religion of God, of the Christ, and of the Holy Spirit: ‘Love one another, as I have loved you. Only by this shall all of you be recognized as my disciples’ (The Gospel of Jesus according to John 13:34 and 35), the Law of Universal Solidarity, the Religion of Friendship*, the true foundation of Fraternity among nations. Family Churches are the grassroots of the Divine Religion, since they are constituted by the families of the Christians of the New Commandment of Jesus. . . . Family Churches are exclusively devotional in character, by which Christians of the New Commandment, without any labor and/or administrative ties and obligations, voluntarily and spontaneously collaborate, spread the doctrine, and support the activities of the Divine Religion.”

Follow, step by step, our suggestions on how to organize an Ecumenical Meeting of the New Commandment of Jesus at Home:

1 ― Bring the family together

Invite your family, friends, and neighbors.

2 ― Create a calm atmosphere

Put on some soothing background music, set out a jug or a bottle of water to be blessed, and have your Holy Bible and books of the Divine Religion with you.

3 ― Legionnaire Salute

Greet everyone with the Legionnaire Salute: “God is Present! Jesus lives in our hearts forever!”

4 ― Opening prayer

Remain silent for a moment. Read the Treatise of the New Commandment of Jesus, published in the JESUS IS ARRIVING! magazine (page 3). Then, invite everyone to say the Ecumenical Lord’s Prayer taught by the Christ of God.

5 ― Ecumenical study

Read a passage previously chosen from the Gospel-Apocalypse of Jesus and encourage the participants to discuss about it.

6 ― Gratitude and final remarks

Thank the Divine Master for the lessons learned and the blessings received. Say a prayer in the end of the meeting.

7 ― Energies renewed

Finish with the Legionnaire Salute and invite everyone back to the next Ecumenical Meeting of the New Commandment of Jesus at your home.
