Congratulations to Brother Paiva Netto’s 80th birthday

Brother José de Paiva Netto received kind messages from Brothers and Sisters from different parts of the world on the occasion of his 65 years of work at the Organizations of God’s Good Will, celebrated on June 29, 2021 (Saint Peter and Saint Paul Day), and on his 80th birthday, which occurred on March 2, 2021. Since it would be impossible to publish all of these letters, we selected some of them as a way to represent all.

Dear Mr. Paiva Netto,

On the occasion of your birthday, I cordially greet you and wish you health, vitality, and inspiration. You have dedicated your life and efforts in favor of humanity, your noble goal being to guide people in the light of the spirit. You strive for human beings to live in harmony, peace, and understanding. As a talented writer, journalist, and poet, you act tirelessly and with devotion for a society in which the fundamental values are truth, justice, and love. It is no coincidence that you support the international language Esperanto, since its most important purpose is to promote understanding and cooperation among human beings. May you always be healthy and willing to continue with your work, because it is extremely necessary for humanity. Sincerely yours,

My dear and much esteemed Mr. Paiva Netto,

On the occasion of your 80th birthday, I wish you happiness and a pleasant and healthy life. It is a great joy for me to greet you and to write a message that highlights the importance of your role and your mission. When love and fraternity guide people, and when their souls are filled with love, there is no distance between them with regard to their feelings of fraternity, because souls and human hearts are close to each other.

Your reflections are not empty and disconnected phrases that can be simply used as a way of sending a message. These are ideas that are in many of your books and articles as acknowledged and experienced remarks, points of view, and conclusions about life, society, and human relations.

Thank you for your tireless, determined, and diligent work, full of true ideals and deep thoughts that, like your own life, are practical, noble, and generous.
