Gioacchino Pecci, better known as Pope Leo XIII (1810–1903), is the author of this prayer. Born in Italy, he served as pope from 1878 until his return to the Spiritual World. Paiva Netto transcribed this prayer during a visit to the Bom Jesus Sanctuary in Braga, as part of an apostolic journey to Portugal. He later recorded it and ensured it was broadcast by the Good Will Super Communications Network to help us defend ourselves against evil influences. Saint Michael the Archangel, mentioned in both the Old and New Testaments, is also frequently remembered by the leader of the Religion of the Third Millennium in his extraordinary preachings for the series “The Apocalypse of Jesus for the Simple-Hearted.
Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against
the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him,
we humbly pray.
And do thou, O Prince of
the Heavenly Host,
by the Power of God,
thrust into hell Satan
and all the evil spirits
who wander through the world
seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.
