In a historic speech calling us to act in Goodness, Paiva Netto brought together pilgrims from across the globe, who filled all the rooms of the Temple of Peace during its 35th-anniversary celebrations. The event, which touched countless Souls, was also broadcast through the Good Will Super Communications Network (radio, TV, and the Internet).
The pilgrimage to the Temple of Good Will (TGW) to celebrate its anniversary, marking the beginning of the Legionary New Year, is undoubtedly the most eagerly anticipated event for countless Sisters and Brothers from Brazil and abroad. Since its inauguration on October 21, 1989, the TGW’s founder and builder, José de Paiva Netto—President-Preacher of the Religion of God, of the Christ, and of the Holy Spirit—established a guiding principle: its doors would never close, and no one seeking entry would ever be turned away. This monument, a true symbol of universal culture, has been officially recognized as the most visited site in Brazil’s capital city.

Every year, people from Brazil and other countries—students, media professionals, public figures, politicians, religious leaders, scholars, and scientists from all walks of life—gather beneath the Seven Faces of the Temple of Divine Ecumenism. This sacred sanctuary serves as a shared space to honor Life, respect the Creator, seek refuge, and meditate. It is a symbol of ecumenical harmony and fraternal coexistence.

The spiritual journey of the Temple of Peace began with the cherished dream of the Legion of Good Will’s founder, Brother Alziro Zarur (1914–1979). A trailblazer in fostering interfaith dialogue on a global scale, he envisioned a place where people could come together in unity. His dream was brought to life by Brother Paiva, Zarur’s chief advisor for nearly a quarter of a century. On October 21, 1989—ten years after Brother Zarur’s passing into the World of Truth—the Temple of Good Will was inaugurated, fulfilling such vision.
This initiative has played a significant role in promoting Peace and Ecumenical Spirituality worldwide. In Brazil, several states, cities, and the Federal District have officially designated October 21 as Ecumenism Day, in tribute to the Seven-Faced Pyramid.
In 2024, the spiritual celebrations at the Pyramid of Peace also marked the 30th anniversary of the World Parliament of Ecumenical Fraternity, known as the LGW’s ParlaMundi. Inaugurated by Paiva Netto on December 25, 1994, it has become a prestigious venue for events and discussions on Science, Religion, Philosophy, and Politics, fostering Peace through meaningful dialogue among human beings.
The annual “October at the TGW” celebrations are a vibrant tribute to the Temple of Good Will’s anniversary, featuring cultural exhibitions, musical performances, ecumenical ceremonies, and the highlight—a solemn session led by Paiva Netto. As the founder of the Temple of Unrestricted Ecumenism, Paiva Netto personally designed and thought of every aspect of its construction, artwork, spaces, and universal symbolism. His fraternal sermons are eagerly anticipated by thousands of pilgrims who gather at the TGW’s Ecumenical Complex and by countless others tuning in through Communications 100% Jesus.
To mark the beginning of the 35th-anniversary celebrations of the Temple of Peace, Brother Paiva inspired us all with the “Spiritual Roadmap to Triumph with Christ in 2025,” presented through the Legionary Media. This guide, crafted annually by the leader of the Divine Religion, is a treasure of fraternal wisdom, offering teachings to be lived by and shared with the world (read the full article in this edition’s Editorial).

On Saturday, October 19, during the closing ceremony of the grand Gathering of the Two Humanities, pilgrims reaffirmed their Accomplishing Faith by revisiting Paiva Netto’s historic speech from 2010, delivered during the TGW’s 21st anniversary. Drawing on Christ’s teachings, he underscored from where the ultimate solution to global social and economic challenges may arise:
“I call everyone’s attention to the fact that, at any time, under any circumstances, we must not forget that the greatest event in human history, yet to occur, is the Triumphant Return of Jesus—the very reason for the existence of the Organizations of God’s Good Will on Earth.”
In this widely acclaimed address, the President-Preacher of the Religion of the Third Millenium also emphasized the Temple of Peace’s pivotal role in spiritually embracing all who enter its sacred spaces:
“TGW stands as a roof for humanity. This is what people need. So many visitors from around the world come to the Temple of Good Will and express their longing for this: a place of comfort and peace—not for idleness, but to dwell in the presence of God and receive His solace. . . . When the Temple of Good Will was built, it had this purpose: to be a roof for humanity, shielding it from so much misery, pain, and bombardment—not only from weapons of war but also from the lack of Charity. And Charity is God’s jurisprudence.”

He concluded with a reminder of the transformative power of prayer and Charity:
“It is often thought that prayer is merely reciting words. Prayer also means living righteously—caring for your children, respecting your spouse, honoring your country, respecting your people, ensuring no one suffers from hunger, and contributing to progress. All of this is Charity. Some think Charity is just giving bread. That’s fine. Excellent! Those who are hungry do need to eat. But Charity is the supreme way to govern a country wisely, truly integrated into God. Charity is the Divine Force that keeps us alive. This is what Charity is about.”
By the end of the event, the pilgrims were filled with joy and a renewed commitment to Goodness, carrying the inspiration of yet another unforgettable Legionary Congress. Many departed with the certainty of returning for the next celebration. Mark your calendars—the TGW’s 36th anniversary is already scheduled for October 24 and 25, 2025!
Tears of joy and voices lifted in gratitude to Jesus filled the air as legionary musicians, actors, and singers delivered yet another unforgettable performance celebrating the Christ of God. The event highlighted Jesus as the embodiment of Universal Culture, uniting Souls, peoples, and nations around the Omnipotent Creator. Here’s to an equally inspiring 2025 edition!

A cherished tradition of the Temple of Good Will anniversary celebrations in Brasília, the 2024 Legionary Music Show captivated pilgrims with its elevated music and ecumenical artistry. Held on Friday, October 18, in two sessions at the José de Paiva Netto Plenary Hall of the LGW’s ParlaMundi, the event was broadcast by the Good Will Super Communications Network. This year’s theme, “Jesus and the Seven Churches of Asia,” resonated across generations, showcasing beautiful melodies and profound lyrics that reinforced the enduring motto of the Organizations of God’s Good Will: “happiness without madness.” Each performance inspired and touched the audience, earning standing ovations, especially after the premiere of Paiva Netto’s latest composition, Jesus Once Again Among Us!, performed by the Good Will Ecumenical Choir and the Good Will Youth Orchestra.
